Field of Action 3: Strengthen International Cooperation and Research Security

In times of geopolitical challenges, open yet secure international research cooperation is of central importance for the European RTI system. Protecting the EU's strategic interests and strengthening research security are becoming increasingly important in this context. The aim of this action area is to strengthen international research networking, promote dialogue with global partners and, at the same time, address risks in a targeted manner. By expanding international cooperation, strengthening European science diplomacy and taking coordinated measures to increase research security, we are creating a stable environment that guarantees both scientific excellence and the protection of common European values.
