Treaty of Lisbon - Research and Technological Development and Space
01DESCRIPTION
The Treaty of Lisbon entered into force on 1 December 2009 and gives to the Union a new legal framework for its action. As a result of negotiations between EU member countries, in which the Commission and Parliament were also involved, the Treaty was ratified by each of the EU’s 27 Member States. The new Treaty provides possibilities as regards the right of initiatives of the citizens.
Title XIX of the Treaty deals with Research and Technological Development and Space.
