Commission opens call for Open Research Europe Scientific Advisory Board
The Commission launches a call for nominations for its Open Research Europe (ORE) platform Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). The aim is to establish the new SAB by September 2026. The SAB will play a key role in supporting the governance, strategic development, and integrity of ORE from the launch onwards. The ideal candidate should be open to innovation in scholarly communication and demonstrate alignment with principles such as transparency, equity, and public accessibility of research. Candidates should also have experience contributing to policy, governance, or large-scale initiatives, with strong strategic and systems-level thinking skills.
The SAB Members are appointed for three years, with a possibility of renewal (twice).
The call is open until 10 July 2026.
