MCAA presents landmark report on impact of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions
The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) successfully held the first edition of the MCAA Policy Forum on 4 December 2025. The hybrid event took place at the European Parliament and was also streamed online.
Organised under the patronage of Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Christian Ehler, the Forum focused on the crucial role of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) as a driver of research excellence, impact, and competitiveness in the European Union and globally. The high-level participants included: MEP Christian Ehler, MEP Lina Gálvez Muñoz, MEP Ivars Ijabs, MEP René Repasi, Minister Counsellor Jimmy Bruun Felthaus & Head of the MSCA Unit Claire Morel. The event opened with an introductory speech by the MCAA Chair, Gian Maria Greco, followed by a presentation by the MCAA Executive Director, Mostafa Moonir Shawrav, of the new report on the impact of the MSCA.
The report, "Impact of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions: Driving Knowledge, Innovation, and EU Competitiveness," is formally published as a book within the MCAA Books - Policy Studies Series.
