Targeted public consultation on 'Do no siginificant harm' principle is closing soon
In July 2026, the European Commission launched a survey on the envisaged approach for applying the ‘do no significant harm’ (DNSH) principle under the 2028-2034 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) in the EU. It follows the Call for Evidence published on the 'Have your say' portal in March 2026. This survey will be closing in two days, i.e. on 16 September 2026.
The Do No Significant Harm principle is a core requirement in Horizon Europe ensuring that funded research and innovation activities do not negatively impact the EU’s climate and environmental goals. It is integrated directly into the proposal template to evaluate project methodologies.
