CERIC-ERIC opens call for proposals for access to multidisciplinary research facilities

CERIC-ERIC has launched a new Call for Proposals, offering researchers from around the world access to more than 60 state-of-the-art research facilities across 11 European countries in the fields of materials science, biomaterials and nanotechnology.

Through a single-entry application process, researchers can submit proposals for single- or multi-technique experiments using complementary facilities. Access is provided free of charge for selected projects, subject to CERIC's Scientific Data Policy.

The current call also introduces four new nuclear laboratories from the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), further expanding the research opportunities available to users.

Key deadlines

• 1 September 2026 (17:00 CEST): Optional pre-evaluation
• 30 September 2026 (17:00 CEST): Final proposal submission
