Czech Presidency Programme

In the area of research and innovation, the Czech Presidency will emphasise the contribution of research and development in improving the preparedness and strengthening the resilience of European society to socio-economic crises and the elated role of research infrastructures as a central component of the European research and innovation ecosystem and art of the Union’s critical infrastructure. In this context, the Czech Presidency will also seek to highlight the role of research nfrastructures in the implementation of the European Open Science Policy and the open access to scientific facilities, ata nd research results. The formation of the Research Council will also address the topic of synergies in research and nnovation, especially synergistic and cumulative funding of projects from EU, national or regional sources.
