Research and Innovation for a Competitive Green Transition
Taking place as a satellite event of the European Research and Innovation (R&I) Days 2025, the conference "R&I for a Competitive Green Transition" will showcase tangible solutions for Europe’s green transition that are enhancing citizens' quality of life, boosting EU economic competitiveness, and implementing the EU Green Deal.
The event will also stimulate dialogue on new ways R&I can drive Europe’s competitiveness and security while accelerating the green transition. Topics on the agenda include how green and blue diplomacy can help address global challenges, promoting green startups in Europe, tackling green disinformation and much more.
Event Agenda
Day 1: Monday, 23 June 16:00 – 18:30
The event will kick off with the opening of a project exhibition showcasing key success stories in R&I for the green transition. The evening includes an invite-only networking event, allowing participants to meet and exchange ideas.
Day 2: Tuesday, 24 June 09:00 – 18:00
The full-day conference will be dedicated to plenary discussions, policy panels and R&I solutions sessions that emphasise the role of R&I in supporting the green transition and implementing of the EU Green Deal.
