The 2017 event will focus on the future of P2Ps under the motto "Co-designing Public-Public Partnerships for the next Framework Programme" to emphasise the collaborative approach in involving stakeholders for the future design. It will bring together 300-400 stakeholders involved in the design and implementation of P2Ps.

Day 1 will build on the outcomes of the H2020 interim evaluation (Commission Staff Working Documents on Horizon 2020 and Article 185 initiatives and the underlying expert group reports, the Lamy group report, ERAC opinion) and the responses of Member States and stakeholders. It will allow participants to inform themselves on the current discussion and prepare for the interactive session dealing with a number of horizontal issues. They will have the opportunity to provide input, express preferences and give feedback.

Day 2 will focus on ERA-LEARN activities related to increasing coherence and efficiency of implementation, starting with a plenary session that presents results of the pilot activities on impacts at project level and a policy paper on impacts of P2Ps at national and European level. The parallel sessions will address the support that ERA-LEARN is planning to provide from 2017 on for networks in the same thematic field in order to increase coherence and efficiency of implementation.
