Project Management Officer

BBMRI-ERIC is the European research infrastructure for biobanking and biomolecular resources. With your experience and drive as Project Management Officer you will be a key member of the Department Finance & Project Management, where you support and partially lead the management of the overall project implantation of EU-funded projects.

You ideally possess a scientific background in largescale European projects, preferably with Life Sciences experience, so that handling the financial and project subjects comes naturally to you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting and partly leading in the operating, administrative and management activities of EU-funded projects
• Supporting the Senior Project Manager in planning and monitoring project outcomes and ensuring their timely delivery of a cutting-edge project in the European research landscape
• Supporting researchers during preparation and coordination of project proposals, grant agreement preparation and project implementation
• Contributing to the coordination and flow of information between a wide variety of stakeholders
• Compiling documents with relevant information for project partners
• Assisting in overseeing the financial and administrative rules of EU-funded projects
• Coordinating and consolidating financial reports
• Preparing budget overviews and forecasts of project related costs in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager
• Liaising with project partners on project related operations, scheduling teleconferences and supporting organisation of face-to-face meetings
• Contract management related to the EU-funded projects.
