Meeting of DGs for Higher Education

The meeting of director generals will take place at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna on the 18/19 of October. The directors will discuss the new proposal for a successor program for Erasmus+ and the proposal for a post education and training 2020 framework. The participants will be also informed about the ministerial Bologna Conference to be held in Paris in May.

The aim of the meeting is to make a substancial contribution to the ongoing negotiations for a follow up program of Erasmus+.

The meeting will also discuss the social dimension in higher education, a special selected theme by the Austrian Presidency. The participants will have a follow up discussion regarding the outcomes of the general conference “The new Student: flexible learning pathways and future learning environments”.
