On 19 July, EU Research ministers will gather in Brdo for a Presidency event: Informal Meeting of Competitiveness - Research Ministers. The main theme of the meeting will be how to renew the European Research Area. Ministers will also discuss the new Global Approach to research.
Before the meeting, there will be a press statement at 09:50 by Minister of Education, Science and Sport Simona Kustec and European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel.
A press conference with Minister Simona Kustec, Minister Manuel Heitor, Minister Anja Karliczek, and European Commissioner Mariya Gabriel will be held at 12:45.
