2025 MCAA Annual Conference
This year’s conference theme is 'Research and Innovation in a Rapidly Evolving World'. It will explore the vital role of science, innovation, education, and continuous learning in shaping our rapidly changing society. The MCAA, with over 22,000 members across 155 countries, is a dynamic global network at the forefront of science policy, research, and innovation.
The conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, academic leaders, and industry experts to discuss critical topics such as research assessments, artificial intelligence, open science, ethics, diversity, mental health, sustainability, science communication, and the future of global research careers and mobility. Notable speakers include Manuel Heitor, Chair of the Expert Group on the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe; Maria Leptin, President of the European Research Council; Paweł Rowiński, President of the All European Academies; Lidia Borrell-Damian, Secretary General of Science Europe; and Prof. Moniek Tromp, President of the Initiative for Science in Europe, along with many other distinguished speakers.
