The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has selected 186 teams including 341 founders as part of its Jumpstarter programme. The most promising participants will undertake a “digital classroom” or a “digital boot camp”. The Jumpstarter programme enables beneficiaries to validate their scientific ideas in a market-friendly environment and provides access to EU resources and business networks through the EIT Community’s extensive partnerships. The teams selected will work closely with experts to turn their concepts into reality, and will have the opportunity to work on setting up a company. This year, all eligible countries were represented in the applications. The candidates represent 62 different nations. The most ideas came from Ukraine (104), Türkiye (64), Portugal (35), Poland (34), and Croatia (31).
