The event is being co-organised by the European Commission, through DG CNECT and DG RTD, together with the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The conference will bring on the stage debates about how to bridge the gap from idea to investable project, how to support breakthrough innovations and the scale up potential with high risk for private investors.

Over the course of the three days, the conference will focus on three overarching topics for the next EU Research and Innovation Programme (2021-2027) – Horizon Europe:

The event offers a timely opportunity to debate at high level the grand challenges of the new European Programme on bridging from science to technology to innovation and to raise the political profile of European Innovation Council and of the continuation of previous European programme supporting innovation and technology after few decades of success.
