EIC welcomes new Programme Manager for medical imaging and AI in healthcare.

The European Innovation Council informs that Ms Federica Zanca has been appointed Programme Manager for the fields of Medical Imaging and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. With over 23 years of experience in the field, Federica Zanca stands as a distinguished senior clinical medical physicist and scientist dedicated to advancing medical imaging and MedTech. Herewith, the EIC increases its scope of technological and application areas and gives continuity to its ongoing activities in the area of MedTech.

Federica Zanca was appointed following a highly competitive selection procedure based on the applicants' leading expertise in fields of breakthrough technology and their ability to develop visions for future breakthroughs.

EIC Programme Managers are high-level experts employed by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency to develop visions for future technology and innovation breakthroughs. and to manage one or more EIC Portfolios to achieve these visions.
