Council Secretariat publishes 'Forward look 2024: Managing uncertainties' research paper
The Analysis and Research Team (ART), the Council's in-house research service and part of the General Secretariat of the Council, has published a paper on 'Forward Look 2024: Managing uncertainties'. The paper states that 2024 will be "a year of unprecedented uncertainty". Three factors in particular are set to play a major role:
- a weakening global order
- a global economy undergoing fundamental shifts
- the numerous important elections taking place across the world
The ‘Forward look 2024’ aims to serve as a tool to help understand and manage these uncertainties, outlining both the risks and the opportunities which they may present for the European Union.
