European co-funded Partnership candidate on Biodiversity opens consultation
BiodivERsA, the network of biodiversity research funding organisations, and the European Commission have developed a European co-funded partnership named ‘Rescuing Biodiversity to safeguard life on Earth’. This partnership aims at aligning the European R&I agenda with the national and sub-national agendas. It will put R&I at the centre of the implementation of the EU 2030 Biodiversity Strategy seeking to reverse biodiversity loss by increasing knowledge on biodiversity dynamics, reinforcing biodiversity monitoring across Europe, developing Nature-based Solutions and providing science support to policy.
Currently an open consultation is being carried out in order to collect feedback from a wide range of academic and non-academic stakeholders. The consultation is not aimed at individuals but at institutions. It will be open until 30 June 2020.
