More science associations join petition for increased EU R&I budget

Another three European associations representing the scientific community have joined the petition for an increased EU budget for research and innovation. The petition was launched last week and calls for increasing the budget for the programme from the currently proposed € 100 billion to at least € 160 billion. It already has more than 1,000 signatories from the science and research community and has now been joined by the European Alliance for Social Sciences and Humanities (EASSH), the Initiative for Science in Europe (ISE), and EuroScience (a non-profit grassroots association of researchers in Europe).
