LERU disappointed by funding for MSCA and ERC in Horizon Europe
In an article of Research Europe, Prof. Kurt Deketelaere, Secretary-General of LERU, the League of European Research Universities, has reacted with disappointment to the budget distribution proposed for Horizon Europe. In particular, he is critical of the percentage of the budget for the ERC, stating that it remains stable in terms of percent of the FP budget. Prof. Deketelaere expresses even more disappointment at the budget proposed for the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions and concludes that in his opinion it is due to the planned budget for the European Innovation Council (EIC) that there is not enough funding for ERC and MSCA.
