H2020 SME Instrument receives 2,130 proposals at September cut-off

The European Commission has announced that a total number of 2,130 proposals were submitted in response to the SME-1 (Phase I) September 6th 2017 cut-off (Industrial Leadership pillar, "Innovation in SMEs" work programme). Out of the 12 different topics, the "Open Disruptive Innovation Scheme" received the largest share of proposals (547), followed by "Stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs for a low carbon and efficient energy system" (231) and "Accelerating the uptake of nanotechnologies advanced materials or advanced manufacturing and processing technologies by SMEs" (202).
