More than 1,500 proposals submitted at SME Instrument June 2017 cut-off

The European Commission (EC), DG Research and Innovation, has announced that a total of 1,514 proposals have been received by the June 2017 (Phase II) cut-off of the dedicated SME Instrument under Horizon 2020. The largest share by far was accounted for by the Open Disruptive Innovation Scheme, with 382 proposals, followed by "Supporting innovative SMEs in the healthcare biotechnology sector" (143 proposals), "Stimulating the innovation potential of SMEs for a low carbon and efficient energy system" (141 proposals) and "Small business innovation research for Transport and Smart Cities Mobility" (140 proposals).
