Experts present recommendations on EIT
On 8 December 2016 the findings of a High Level Group of experts set up by the Commission to review the EIT’s workings were discussed during the EIT Governing Board meeting in Budapest. The High Level Group was established by the Commissioner Tibor Navracsics to make recommendations that can help guide the European Commission and the EIT Governing Board as they seek to respond to the combination of ambitions, constraints and ongoing challenges.
Commissioner Navracsics, said ”the High Level Group has delivered a set of far-reaching recommendations that, once implemented, will help the EIT play this role even more effectively”.
Only recently, the EIT has been assessed by the European Court of Auditors who called for significant reforms (see ERA News)
