New consultation on future Internet open
The European Commission launched a public consultation on the next Internet generation. This consultation seeks to define research and innovation priorities for Horizon 2020. It addresses themes like personal data, artificial intelligence, setting up networks in addition to IP addresses. The Commission aims at involving stakeholders in this transition, such as young researchers, companies starting up on the Internet and civil society. A call for supporting action in Horizon 2020 will be launched in December 2016 to identify specific research themes and create an ecosystem of the different actors involved.
The public consultation is open until 9 January 2017.TOP
