An initiative to Accelerate Clean Energy Innovation will support the research and market uptake of technological innovation needed for energy efficiency and renewables to meet the decarbonisation goals set by the Paris Agreement and our 2030 targets.
9. A Stronger Global Actor
The Commission will propose the creation of a European Defence Fund in order to promote research and innovation and contribute to the strengthening of the European defence technological and industrial base and to further stimulate the development of key defence capabilities.
