Call for a Fast Track Project within JPI More Years - Better Lives
The Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy is looking for a national expert for the commissioning of a national report regarding the Joint Programming Initiative “More Years, Better Lives – The Potential and Challenges of Demographic Change”.
JPI Fast Track projects are intended to be short lived and limited studies, designed to bring together current knowledge, and help to define the scope of any further work by this JPI or other means. All member countries of the JPI are invited to take part. Each participating country agrees to fund the time of a “national expert” to work as a member of a project team, led by a coordinator appointed by the General Assembly.
As a rough guide, it is expected that it calls for no more than 2 months full time work by the national expert (spread over the project time of 6 months). In this case, it is proposed that each national expert will:
- Attend three team meetings
- Write a national report
- Write one thematic report
The national and thematic reports are then combined into a single project report, with an overview and recommendations for further work, prepared jointly by the team.
