REA and EASME complete evaluation of a number of H2020 calls

The European Commission (EC) has announced on its Participant Portal that the EC's Research Executive Agency (REA) has completed the evaluation of proposals submitted to the following calls under Horizon 2020:

  • Sustainable Food Security – Resilient and resource-efficient value chains 2016-2 first-stage call: 234 proposals submitted, 59 above threshold
  • Blue Growth - Demonstrating an ocean of opportunities 2016-2 first stage call: 4 proposals submitted, 2 above threshold
  • Rural Renaissance - Fostering innovation and business opportunities 2016-2 first stage call: 47 submitted proposals, 11 above threshold
  • Bio-based innovation for sustainable goods and services - Supporting the development of a European Bioeconomy 2016-2 first-stage call: 6 submitted proposals, 3 above threshold

EASME, the EC's Executive Agency for SMEs, has evaluated the following calls:

  • Smart and Sustainable Cities 2016 first-stage call: 35 proposals submitted, 13 above threshold
  • Industry 2020 in the Circular Economy 2016 first-stage call: 102 proposals submitted, 27 above threshold
  • Greening the Economy 2016, first-stage call: 51 proposals submitted, 17 above threshold
