More than 2,000 proposals submitted for SME Phase 1 in H2020
According to the European Commission's Research & Innovation Participant Portal, a total of 2,005 proposals were submitted in response to the SME-1 (Phase I) 3 May 2016 cut-off under Horizon 2020.
Other recent Horizon 2020 call results on the Participant Portal include the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen 2 Joint Undertaking (FCH2 JU) Call, for which a total of 81 proposals were submitted. Energy received the largest number of proposals (38), followed by Transport (26). The evaluation of these proposals is planned to start by end of May 2016 and will be closed by mid-July 2016.
The Future and Emerging Technologies Call "FET-OPEN - Novel Ideas for Radically New Technologies" received a total of 561 proposals by the 11 May 2016 cut-off date. The submission of proposals under this call has been temporarily suspended in view of the upcoming update of the FET H2020 Work Programme for 2017.
