JPI Climate launches consultation on revision of Strategic Research Agenda
Against the background of the historic COP21 agreement reached in Paris in December 2015 and Europe’s challenge to make the transition to clean energy and to shift away from fossil fuels, the Joint Programming Initiative "Connecting Climate Knowledge for Europe" (JPI Climate) is revising its research agenda 2016-2025. The intention is to reflect recent developments, both in climate and climate-related research, and the political and socio-economic environment.
JPI Climate therefore invites potential beneficiaries of this research and the knowledge generated, to include their input in revising this Strategic Research Agenda (SRA). One of the aims of this consultation is to get information on what issues could potentially be addressed by JPI Climate to respond to the challenges proposed in the revised SRA, and how those issues could be tackled, including how to do so most effectively and efficiently.
The consultation is open until 1 April .2016.
