EC provides MSCA Cofund Call results
The European Commission (EC) has published the evaluation results for the Marie Sklodowska Curie Co-Fund Call (Co-Funding of Regional, National and International Programmes).
A total of 130 proposals had been submitted to this call, of which 13 were ineligible. 92 proposals were above threshold, requesting a total budget of € 261,055,450.
The EC expects the first grant agreements to be signed by May 2016, and information on the selected projects will be published on CORDIS after that date. The Commission points out that the number of proposals that can be funded will depend on the finally available budget and the formal selection by the Agency.
The MSCA COFUND scheme aims at stimulating regional, national or international programmes to foster excellence in researchers' training, mobility and career development, spreading the best practices of Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions. This will be achieved by co-funding new or existing regional, national, and international programmes to open up to, and provide for, international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary research training, as well as transnational and cross-sectoral mobility of researchers at all stages of their career.
