LERU calls for EU research to take a global view
In its contribution to the latest edition of the European Commission's ERA newsletter, the League of European Research Universities (LERU) calls for EU research to take a global view and engage with international stakeholders in order to tackle global challenges. This applies to all actors involved in R&I policy, governments, research funders, and research performers. In the EU context, LERU also calls for a more coordinated and harmonised European-driven approach in order to be able to deal with the grand societal challenges.
The most recent edition of the ERA Newsletter focuses on how Member States are pooling resources and aligning research agendas to address the societal challenges facing Europe.
