Europatagung 2017: ÜBER DEN HORIZONT HINAUS

"ÜBER DEN HORIZONT HINAUS" ("Beyond the Horizon") was the theme of this year's Europatagung (Europe conference) of the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy.

The Europatagung took a particular international look at Austria. For the first time in decades, the OECD is carrying out a review of the Austrian RTI eco-system. The OECD Review Team used the Europatagung as an opportunity to interact with the interested Austrian expert community. In addition, high-ranking guests from important comparable countries for Austria discussed what the added value would be for a country to develop a new RTI strategy. The findings of the OECD Review will feed into the Austrian federal government's next RTI strategy.
