Conference on Turkish Universities in the European Research Area

The Conference will primarily focus on discussing the ERA principles and priority actions. The first day of the Conference, October, 8, 2015 will aim to highlight the ERA priority actions adaptable to Turkish Universities and other research institutions, discuss how Turkey can better benefit from and contribute to ERA and ultimately lead the way to the development of national initiatives.

The second day of the Conference, October 9, 2015 will aim to raise the awareness of universities, research organizations, industry and researchers on Horizon 2020 funding instruments, which contribute to the functioning of ERA. Key initiatives such as the European Research Council, Marie Sklodowska Curie grants or the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) will be presented and discussed.

The afternoon of October 9 will also offer the opportunity to foster collaborations for a successful participation in Horizon 2020 calls on Energy, Health and ICT research.
