Marina Zanchi appointed Director of Health and Digital Executive Agency
On 18 January 2022, the European Commission appointed Marina Zanchi as director for the newly created Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA). HaDEA manages European programmes and initiatives on behalf of the European Commission: the EU4Health programme, Horizon Europe (Clusters 1 and 4), the Single Market Programme (Food Safety), the Digital Europe Programme and the Connecting Europe Facility (Digital).
Ms Zanchi, an Italian national, is currently Head of Department ‘Future Society' in the European Research Executive Agency. Marina Zanchi has many years of experience in management and communication, European policies and programmes, financial management, control and supervision of budget execution in European institutions.
