European Researchers' Night celebrates 20 years of bringing science closer to citizens
Science will be in the spotlight on 26 September 2025 during the European Researchers’ Night. People from all over Europe will have the chance to enjoy science in a fun and accessible way, with more than 460 cities across 25 countries taking part in this event, which is supported by the EU. The goal of European Researchers’ Night is to connect the public with scientists by letting them join in practical experiments, interactive displays, science shows, games, and contests.
In 2025, the event will celebrate its 20th anniversary, and it attracts over 1.5 million visitors of all ages every year. The European Researchers’ Night is funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), which is part of Horizon Europe.
