ERA Symposium 2025 in Vienna: Agenda available, registration is open

The Austrian ERA Symposium "Towards Europe's Fifth Freedom" will take place on 17 November 2025 at Tech Gate in Vienna's 22nd district, next to the Vienna International Centre, as a full-day on-site event.

This year’s symposium, the third of its kind, will feature a keynote speech by EU-Commissioner for Start-ups, Research and Innovation, Ekatarina Zaharieva, who will share first-hand insights into the evolving EU R&I landscape. The symposium will also feature a panel discussion on the upcoming ERA Act – an envisaged landmark initiative introducing legally binding measures to strengthen the ERA - as well as workshops focussing on several initiatives of Austria’s next National ERA Action Plan 2026–2028.

The conference will be held in English, participants from other countries are welcome.
