ERA Industrial Technologies Roadmap on Human-Centric R&I published

The European Commission has published the `ERA Industrial Technologies Roadmap on Human-Centric Research and Innovation for the manufacturing sector`. This technology roadmap has been developed under ERA Action 12, which aims to accelerate the green and digital transition of key EU industrial ecosystems, and following the Industry 5.0 policy approach to foster human-centricity, resilience and sustainability in industry.

The concept of human centricity in the context of Industry 5.0 is still evolving and is thus explored in this study. Human centricity is a multidimensional framework that places human needs, characteristics, motivation and experiences at the centre of design, development, and implementation of technological solutions and organisational practices that not only meet functional requirements, but also enhance human well-being, capabilities, skills, and working conditions.
