ERA Conference 2024 wrap-up video is available

The ERA Stakeholder Conference took place on 18/19 September 2024 in Brussels, with over 300 in-person and more than 1,000 online participants. It was dedicated to discussing success stories and lessons learnt after four years of revamping the European Research Area. The conference has also been an opportunity to reflect on ambitions and challenges for the future of ERA and the role of R&I policy in advancing European sustainable competitiveness. The event was organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, with the support of the Horizon Europe INSPIRING ERA project.

As part of the conference, an exhibition featured 18 successful EU-funded projects supporting the implementation of the first ERA Policy Agenda (2022-2024) and contributing to improving the ERA. The conference was held at a moment of transition between the current and next ERA Policy Agendas (2022-2024 and 2025-2027).
