EIT launches EIT Community Hub in Greece
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) officially launched the EIT Community Hub Greece on 24 October 2025. Established in May 2025, the Hub serves as the entry point for Greek innovators to access the EIT’s extensive opportunities, networks, and support.
The kick-off event was held at the National Bank of Greece Headquarters in Athens and brought together around 100 representatives from government, academia, industry, and the startup community. The event was supported by NBG Business Seeds, the National Bank of Greece’s programme for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. The event featured three panel discussions on Greece’s innovation landscape, highlighting national priorities, investment trends, and collaboration opportunities. Representatives from several EIT Communities showcased successful partnerships driving tangible results across the country. The day concluded with a networking session connecting participants with EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities to explore new cross-sector opportunities.
The launch of the EIT Community Hub Greece highlights the EIT’s commitment to empowering local ecosystems and creating pathways for innovators to connect with Europe’s largest innovation that brings together over 2,400 partners across more than 70 hubs.
