EC provides overview of ERA in Horizon Europe on its ERA Platform

The European Commission's DG R&I has made new content available on its ERA Platform on how Horizon Europe supports the implementation of the European Research Area.

Specific webpages are provided for different ERA policy priorities, including a short explainer on Horizon Europe support to the respective ERA policy priority, a showcase of key resources, tools and videos from funded activities, and an overview of past and new calls.

This content results from the joint Feedback-to-Policy work of RTD and REA, with the objectives to:

• Communicate more effectively about the links between the Framework Programme and the ERA policy, allowing to highlight contributions to the ERA from different Work Programme parts (e.g., WIDERA, Research Infrastructures, Clusters);
• Strengthen promotion and exploitation of project results by stakeholders in Member States and Associated Countries;
• Provide information for potential applicants to the Work Programme to develop synergies and complementarities with current projects and results.

The EC points out that this content is work in progress and will be continuously updated, including to reflect the contribution of the Framework Programme to the next ERA Policy Agenda.
