Consultation on European RTI Infrastructures is closing soon

The European Commission DG R&I's public consultation and call for evidence on the upcoming European Strategy for Research and Technology Infrastructures will be closing on 22 May 2025 at midnight Brussels time.

Research & technology infrastructures provide scientific & technological capacities essential for the excellence and the competitiveness of European research, innovation, and industrial ecosystems. However, budget and other constraints ever more hinder the creation, operation and upgrades of these infrastructures and the effective access to their services. The strategy will increase their complementarity and service offer and promote pooling and prioritisation of investments, leading to improved capacity and reduced investment risks and costs.

This call for evidence is open for feedback. The Commission will take input given into account as it further develops and fine-tunes this initiative.
