Commission opens new MSCA COFUND call with € 96.6 million budget

On 11 October 2023, the European Commission opened a new call of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions' (MSCA) co-funding of regional, national and international programme (COFUND). With a budget of €96.6 million, this call will co-finance doctoral training programmes and post-doctoral fellowship programmes of outstanding quality. Through MSCA COFUND, any kind of organisation, including universities, research centres, companies, or regional or national authorities can receive funding to develop and support their own training programmes, which can have a regional, national or international component, to attract international talent and increase their research and innovation capacities.
Selected projects will spread MSCA's best practices and foster high-quality training, supervision and career development of excellent researchers carrying out their research in a wide range of disciplines. They also allow funded researchers to enlarge their networks, share knowledge to carry out cutting-edge research and boost their creativity and entrepreneurship. Lifelong learning is among the priorities of the 2023 the European Year of Skills, which will focus on helping people to get the right skills for quality jobs.
