Commission launches AI tools on online platform for researchers and industry

The Commission has introduced new functions on its AI-on-Demand platform for artificial intelligence (AI) for researchers and industry. These features include an AI marketplace, a low-code AI development tool, as well as secure options for working with generative AI and large language models.
Developed in collaboration with the EU-funded projects AI4Europe and DeployAI, the platform aims at providing reliable AI solutions and tools to both the research community and businesses. Researchers will find a variety of datasets, specialised tools, and computing resources designed to support their work. Meanwhile, small and medium-sized enterprises, larger companies, and public institutions can access trusted AI resources and ready-to-use modules specifically adapted to industrial needs.
Serving as a central gateway to a shared AI toolbox, the platform is intended to strengthen the EU’s AI capabilities as outlined in the AI Continent Action Plan. The Commission is encouraging AI developers to register their tools and solutions on the platform, helping them gain greater visibility within a growing network of AI innovators and connect directly with organisations looking for deployable AI services. By bringing together trusted AI resources, the platform aims to speed up the secure and large-scale adoption of AI technologies across European industries and the public sector.
