Study on Assessing the Contribution of the Framework Programmes to the Development of Human Research Capacity
The "Study on Assessing the Contribution of the Framework Programmes to the Development of Human Research Capacity" was commissioned by the European Commission, DG Research and Innovation. It provides detailed and robust assessment of the contribution of the Framework Programmes (FP) to the development of human research capacity. Impact is measured at three levels: the individual (researcher), the team and the systemic. Analysis results, conclusions and recommendations are presented to inform and support decision-making processes in research and technology policy, and particularly in terms of tailoring the EC’s funding instruments (Horizon 2020 Programme) in order to reach maximum impact on human research capacity in the future. The study was published in December 2014.
