Building Capacity for Evidence-Informed Policymaking in Governance and Public Administration in a Post-Pandemic Europe
The event will bring together policymakers, scientists and knowledge brokers from across Europe.
Over the past two years, the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre and the OECD have worked with seven EU Member States – Greece, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the Netherlands – to support reforms towards a greater uptake of evidence-informed policymaking (EIPM) practices. Notably, through in-depth analyses of the political and scientific landscapes, the Technical Support Instrument (TSI) project has produced tailored country roadmaps offering recommendations to strengthen evidence-informed policymaking in governance and public administration across the participating Member States.
The final conference marks the end of the project and serves as an opportunity to review its achievements and key findings, but also to look ahead and chart the way forward for EIPM in Europe.
