EARTO & EIRMA Annual Conference 2015 will take stock of the current situation regarding collaboration based on knowledge and technology transfer between research and industry. The aim of the conference is to bring together key representatives of RTOs, Industry and EU institutions to discuss the industry’s strategy and research needs linking them to what RTOs are doing and can do in the future to support the European industry.

Infrastructure plays a crucial role in the interface between industry and RTO innovation processes. The objective of the 2 day event focusing on the theme "Infrastructures and Resources Sharing between Industry & RTOs in Europe" is to answer the questions :

       
  • What facilities, tools and services are needed in Europe to align the needs and contributions from industry and RTOs to deliver transferrable co-developed results that are competitive on the world’s stage?
    •    
  • What is the role of RTOs and Industry in supporting Smart Specialisation within European regions, and driving delivery of the Key Enabling Technologies?

The conference debates will focus on these key-questions.
